SUBJECTS THAT MUST HAVE CONFORMITY CERTIFICATION OF TOILET PAPERS

• Organizations and individuals produce and import tissues and toilet papers.
• Foreign organizations and individuals trade in tissues and toilet papers in Vietnam.

TYPES OF PAPER THAT MUST HAVE CERTIFICATION OF CONFORMITY

According to the Standards 09:2015/BCT, these following types of paper must have certification of conformity:  

• Tissue papers: This is the type of paper that was processed to wrinkle the paper surface. They may include one or more layers of paper with low basis weight. Tissue papers and tissue papers in big rolls are often used to process tissues.
• Tissues: This is the product made of tissue papers of different sizes. This type of tissue is usually embossed, printed in patterns, white or it has other colors. It is used for cleaning, suction purposes.
• Toilet papers: This is the product from tissue papers in rolls or in sheets. This type of paper is usually white in color and a small number of them has other colors or is in decorative prints. Because of its high suction characteristic, toilet papers are used for sanitary purposes.

WHAT DO APPLICATION DOCUMENTS FOR CONFORMITY CERTIFICATION OF TOILET PAPERS INCLUDE?

For domestically produced papers:

• Complete an application form for certification
• Provide a copy of business registration certificate or business establishment certificate

For imported papers:

Customers prepare a set of import documents including: Contract, invoice, bill of lading, packing list, customs declaration form, iso/CO/CQ (if any).

PROCESS OF PAPER CONFORMITY CERTIFICATION

In order to perform the certification of paper products, KNA Cert's implementation process is as follows:

• Get information from customers.

• Sign a contract.
• Carry out pre-audit and factory assessments.
• Test paper samples.
• Issue a certificate of conformity.
• Publish to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
