Training course on Occupational Safety Certification under the latest Decree 44

Based on laws on organizing occupational safety courses:

• Occupational Safety and Health Law No 84/2015/QH13 passed by Natioanl Assembly has become effective since 1 July 2016.
• Decree No was enforced on 15 May 2016.

Occupational safety training courses are organized for staff working in manufacturing, construction, operation, etc. fields. They are divided into specific groups:

Training content:

The training content of occupational training under Decree 44 is strictly and specifically regulated by laws. While group 1 and 3 do not have many changes, other groups have new and more appropriate ones.

For group 2: Subjects in group 2 (occupational safety officers) do not need to learn general knowledge of group 1. Instead, this group will be trained on policy System, laws on occupational health and safety, professional works related to occupational health and safety, and specialized training contents.

For group 4: In addition to basic knowledge about occupational health and safety, people in this group must be directly trained to create facilities and workplaces on specific occupational health and safety procedures and requirements at the workplace.

Group 5: Trainees are trained on policy System, laws on occupational health and safety, professional works related to occupational health and safety. Besides, they must be trained to obtain certificates of professional qualifications in occupational health.

For group 6: The training content of this group is similar to that of group 4. In addition, trainees are trained on skills and operation methods of safety and health staff.
