Ulhwa Vietnam Co., Ltd - An Phuoc branch was established on September 26th, 2017 in charge of greasy and finished fabric production.  Ulhwa Vietnam chose KNA to be GRS pre-audit unit for the staff at two companies. 

The company is responsible for manufacturing types of fabrics including greasy and component fabrics to supply to the garment market. Greasy fabric is thick and slender. This kind of fabric is often used for making the following items: Bags, handbags, canvas shoes, umbrellas, sunshades, picture frames, sofa upholstery, etc. Because it is woven from cotton garments, it can be combined with many types of yarns including recycled yarns.

To identify and prove the composition of this fabric, especially  recycled components, GRS is to determine the recycled content of products (both finished and semi-finished) as well as to verify responsibly social, environmental and chemical activities in production.  Goals of GRS certification is to determine requirements to ensure the statement of accurate components and good conditions, and minimize impacts of chemicals on the environment.

GRS specifies certification requirements of the third party in terms of:

• The recycle origins of silk items along the whole production line.
• Environmental requirements
• Social responsibility according to ILO (International Labour Organization)
• Identification and restriction of chemical use.
