ISO 17025 Standard is a system of standards on quality management that is specifically applied for the testing-calibration sector. ISO 17025 is enforced and developed by ISO – International Organization for Standardization.
ISO/IEC 17025 Standard, which is considered internationally standardized, is to certify the capacity of testing and calibration laboratories playing important roles in commerce, production development, products and customer protection.
Different from standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc, ISO 17025 applies the assessment form of recognition, but not certification. The Board of Acknowledgement in Vietnam is doing ISO 17025 certification work here.
