Certification of conformity for building sand and stone

In order to help the enterprise in construction sector well produce building sand and stone, KNA cert is willing to offer pre-audit – certification service for building sand and stone nationally.

FOUNDATION FOR BUILDING SAND AND STONE CONFORMITY

According to QCVN16: 2017 / BXD issued together with Circular No.15 / 2014 / BXD of the Ministry of Construction, sand and stone products is on the list of construction materials which must be certified for technical regulation conformity. These are the main materials in the building materials group, especially in large construction projects, which need to be ensured so as not to affect the works and not endanger workers .
TYPES OF SAND AND STONES REQUIRES CONFORMITY CERTIFICATION

According to QCVN 16: 2017 / BXD, products of sand, natural sand, gravel, stones belong to large group of aggregates and small aggregates for concrete and mortar. These groups all need conformity certification.

METHOD OF CERTIFYING CONFORMITY OF SAND AND STONE

Currently, conformity certification for sand and stone is conducted by 2 methods which are 5 and 7 depending on type of material:

• Method 7 for natural sand
• Method 5 for and, gravel, grit, grindstone

Certificate is valid for 3 years.

DOSSIER OF CERTIFICATION OF SAND AND STONE

• Declaration of conformity
• General description of construction materials and products (characteristics, features, utility ...);
• Test results; calibration results (if any) at the accredited laboratories or designated by the standards promulgating agency.
• Processes and quality control plans developed and applied or copies of certificates conforming to ISO 9001 standards in cases where conformity assessment organizations and individuals have certified quality management systems.
• Periodical inspecting plan.
• A technical conformity assessment report accompanied by relevant documents.
