Which is the most reliable Kosher certification organization?

Dear KNA experts, my name is Hoa, owner of an industrial poultry production enterprise. I have intention to export my product to Middle East market and need to have Kosher certificate. As far as I know, this is a set of Jewish food standards. I would like to know that which is the most reliable Kosher certification organization in Vietnam? Thank you.

• It is estimated that there are more than 11 million consumers of Kosher products in Middle East and US market. 20% among these people esteems Kosher rules in diet and processing food. It is completely right for your business to have the Kosher certificate in order to export you product to Middle East.
• Your business can export chicken because chicken is considered as Kosher poultry.

Kosher Food

Kosher certified food belongs to one of three kosher food:

• Meat: Food products that contain kosher meat (e.g son, cow or sheep) or kosher poultry (chicken, turkey, geese or duck) or meat-originated products and even non-meat products manufactured by meat-processing equipment.
• Diary : Food products that contain milk or milk-originated products and even non-milk products manufactured by milk-processing equipment
• Food that doesn’t contain butter and meat: All products doesn’t contain butter, meat or meat and milk-originated products which are manufactured by equipment never used in the manufacture of any meat or dairy products.

Fundamental principles of Kosher Standard

Although Jewish dietary regulations and Kosher are complex, there are 4 basic points:

• Do not mix milk and meat. (After eating meat foods, we wait six full hours before drinking milk, and after drinking milk, we will wait 30 minutes before eating meat).

• Do not cook meat originated products and milk originated products in same kitchen utensil, do not cook and eat at these products at the same time, do not use the same dish.
• Non meat and milk food can mix with other food products but they can not combine with meat or diary and not be cooked in the same kitchen utensil.
• Kosher meat must be processed in special way of the Jew.

Kosher is a certificate for enterprises to prove their Kosher certified products and these products will be labelled with Kosher trademark.
