FOUNDATIONS FOR CONFORMITY OF FOOD PACKAGING

Food packaging and containers shall have conformity declaration with Food Safety regulation licenses issued by Department of Food Safety. Pursuant to Decree 38/2012/NĐ-CP detailing some articles of the Law on Food Safety and Circular No. 19/2012 / TT-BYT guiding conformity declaration in accordance with regulations on food safety.

TYPES OF FOOD PACKAGING NEED TO HAVE CONFORMANCE AND CONFORMITY DECLARATIONS

• Rubber packaging in direct contact with food – QCVN 12-2:2011/BYT
• Synthetic plastic packaging in direct contact with food – QCVN 12-1:2011/BYT
• Legal grounds for declaring conformance and conformity of packaging:
• Metal packaging in direct contact with food – QCVN 12-3:2011/BYT

DOCUMENTS FOR FOOD PACKAGING DECLARATION:

1. The conformity declaration;
   2. Detailed information about products;
   3. The results of product testing within 12 months, including the principal quality criteria and safety norms set by the testing laboratories designated by competent state agencies or independent testing laboratories. (original or notarized copy);
   4. Quality control plan;
   5. Regular monitoring plan (certified by organizations and individuals);
   6. Product labels (with certification of organizations and individuals);
   7. Business registration certificate in the field of food business or certificate of legal entity with respect to the organization or individual (copy certified by the organization or individual);

   9. Certificate of conformity with HACCP or ISO 22000 or equivalent

REQUIREMENTS FOR CONFORMITY OF FOOD PACKAGING:

1. Samples for testing. We commit to support you to save costs and testing time to a maximum level.
   2. Business registration certificate.
   3. Certificate of food safety. KNA Cert can assist you in applying for a certificate of eligibility for food safety when you request.
   4. In the case of imported food: CA (Certificate of analysis) - Testing results within 12 months have enough norms as prescribed.
