Nowadays, there are many types of plastic pipes with different shapes and qualities in the market, but in general the plastic pipe systems used for the drainage systems and sewers located underground or floating on the ground in the condition of pressure need to have conformity certification. This kind of pipe is usually PVC-U (Polyvinyl chloride non-plastic).

MODES TO ASSESS COMFORMITY OF PLASTIC PIPES

Modes of conformity assessment (based on Article 5 of Circular 28/2012/TT-BKHCN). In this Article 5 of Circular 28/2012/TT-BKHCN, there are 8 modes of conformity assessment. However, organizations usually choose mode 5 and mode 7

Mode 5: Test typical samples and assess manufacturing process; supervise by testing samples at the manufacturing site or on the market in conjuction with manufacturing process assessment (applicable to domestically manufactured products) and manufacturers shall have certificates of their quality management systems in accordance with ISO 9001.

Mode 7: Test and assess batches of products and goods (applicable to each batch of products manufactured or imported).
