Certification of student table chair conformance

The certification of student table chair conformance means auditing conformance with technical requirements. The audit shall be objectively and independently conducted to decide whether products are qualified enough to hit the market.

BASIS OF STUDENT TABLE CHAIR CONFORMANCE

• Ministry of Pre-audit and Education, ministry of Science Technology and ministry of Health have issued Joint Circular 26/2011/TTLT-BGDĐT-BKHCN-BYT to guide standard of student table chair of primary school, junior high school and high school.
• Whereby, Joint Circular specifically guides standards for student table chair of primary school, junior high school and high school including: size, material, structure, shape, color, layout of table for national education units, office, organization, and related individuals, physically normal student.

REQUIREMENTS OF STUDENT CHAIR CONFORMANCE

Article  3. Size

1. Regulation on size and code of the table chair accordant with height of student:

Article 4. Shape and color

1. Table chair is designed for not exceeding two seats.
2. Table and chair are separated.
3. Table shall have student learning tool fit with structure design.
4. Choosing chair with backrest and non backrest chair suitable with age of student.
5. The corners and edges of table and chair should be smooth and aesthetical and safe.
6. Color of table and chair ensure to match with age and school environment of students.

Article 5. Material

Table, chair and their legs shall be made of solid, waterproof and non-toxic material.

Article 6. Structure

1. Table chair shall have strong structure which is resistant to regular movement.
2. Joints are linked firmly, smoothly, aesthetically and safe for user.

Article 7. Label

Table and chair shall be labelled with mark accordant with Decree No 89/2006/NĐ-CP dated 30^th  September, 2006 on product labelling. Label shall be clearly demonstrated and durable in using process. Besides, it shall provide with information such as product name, producer name ( for exported one must be labelled with name and address of producer and name of distributor), manufacturing year, and size number.

Article 8. Layout of table in classroom

1. The tables and chairs are arranged to suit most students. Classrooms are able to accommodate multiple sizes at once.
2. The distance from the back edge of the table to the board must ensure that students sit in the innermost position and the outermost position of the table top has a viewing angle of no less than 30o and the maximum angle of rotation no more than 60o.
